Get the Glow for Less with Lola Makeup

I don't know about you but I feel like I'm not quite ready until I've dusted my favourite highlighter across my cheek bones. There are so many on the market now, that it can sometimes get a bit overwhelming at where to start. Marks & Spencer have transformed their beauty halls in recent years and Lola Makeup, a British cruelty free makeup brand created by beauty experts, have been a purse friendly addition which I have very much welcomed...

Over recent months, I've been trying a range of different products from Lola Makeup such as foundation to lipstick and of course, their beautiful highlighters. Adding a glow to skin just become even easier with the highlighting powders which are a snip at £10.95 each. The highlighters are designed to brighten up skin and add a sheer glow. The light reflecting formula contains vitamin E and an innovative pearl technology which works to highlight and illuminate for a natural looking glow.

There are two shades available, 01 is a pretty champagne pink while 02 has a more golden glow. I find myself reaching for the champagne pink the most, day to day as I find it works more with an every day makeup look if I'm going for something more subtle. It leaves a pretty glow when dusted on cheekbones and the smoothing powder lasts the day too. It blends with skin beautifully and it doesn't gather in lines or pores.

The packaging is rather plain but the product more than makes up for that. If the product is fab, is the packaging really that important? I'm undecided but it would in no way put me off buying more from Lola Makeup as the range is pretty impressive with brushes and application accessories as well as face, lip and nail products for a really reasonable price.

If you haven't tried anything from Lola Makeup yet then hop to it, I'm yet to be disappointed by their products and the prices make a makeup haul less guilt filled! Have you tried anything from Lola before? What products are your favourite?
