Eight Products from Too Faced to add to your Beauty Shelf

(Features press samples - see disclaimer)

Too Faced is a brand I hadn't really dabbled in until 2018 when Arran bought me the original Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette. I don't think I used a palette that wasn't by Too Faced that year as I fell head over heels for the shades and formulations; I have quite a few of them now and I really do reach for them every day. They kicked my usual go-to's firmly out the way that's for sure!

Fast forward two years and I have quite a number of products from lipsticks to eyeshadow palettes, primer and skincare so I'm gonna give you a rundown of eight products you should add to your beauty shelf.

Too Faced Hangover Good to Go Skin Loving Moisturiser (£29.00)
I didn't realise Too Faced had a skincare range and to be honest, I was a little sceptical because to me, they're a makeup brand and it doesn't always work when one moves into skincare. However, I've been surprised by the Hangover Good to Go skincare range. The nourishing moisturiser multitasks as a primer helping to create a smooth, dewy base ideal for foundation application. The formula is quite watery probably due to the infusion of coconut water but don't let that put you off as it makes it beautifully lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. It has a subtle scent that I wasn't too sure on at first but it diminishes pretty quickly leaving skin perfectly moisturised and hydrated. It's ideal as a summer moisturiser - I've been reaching for it a lot while it's been warm as it doesn't make my skin feel weighed down but I wouldn't use it in the winter months and I like something a bit richer. I've been super impressed, it's ideal if you're looking for the perfect summer moisturiser.

I'm a sucker for a serum and I've tried my fair share of good and bad over the years - thankfully this one can sit happily in the good section as boy is it nourishing! The potent serum is packed full of ultra-nourishing ingredients to drench your skin in dewy goodness. It's enriched with Vitamin B5 which helps to heal the skin and Yogurt Probiotics that helps to reduce fine lines. It also features two different sized Hyaluronic Acid Modules to provide deep, long-lasting hydration while giving your skin a gorgeous glow. It delivers a luminous complexion and skin feels refreshed and plumper. The formula is super light, almost like water and absorbs incredibly quickly with no tackiness left behind. It's another one I'd solely use in the summer as it's quite light but it's definitely made an impression.

This has been so hyped over the years but it has only been this year that I've tried it for myself and I'm kicking myself that I didn't try it sooner. The super-sized primer is the perfect product for getting the ultimate base for makeup application. The replenishing primer works to hydrate, smooth and brighten skin to create a dewy finish much like the rest of the Hangover collection. It's infused with coconut water which helps to nourish the skin and I've found the primer works so much better than others I've tried. It leaves my skin feeling fresher, brighter and more youthful - it's a fab little primer that I won't be without any time soon.

I'm a sucker for a setting spray but have only used Urban Decay over the years so I was super intrigued to see how this one would compare - I have the Watermelon Extract spray but it's also available in Original and Peach Extract. The multi-tasking mist helps to prime, set and refresh makeup helping it last the test of time and a few nights out. I first used this on a cruise trip press visit and it helped my makeup last through five hours of travel and lots of fun exploring a cruise ship!

The weightless setting spray is infused with coconut water once again and gives such a refreshing feel to the skin. I haven't touched another setting spray the last six months and I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon - it's brilliant.

Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette (£35.00)
I've already mentioned I'm partial to an eyeshadow palette or five so as soon as I saw this one available I ordered it immediately and I haven't used anything else since. The palette features an array of incredibly wearable nudes from soft suedes and sparkling shimmers to the prettiest pearls and velvety espresso shades. The colours are designed to complement every complexion and help create a subtle contrast of birthday suit shades.

As always, the formula is buttery soft, bursting full of pigment and blends effortlessly at the touch of a brush. Each one is infused with extracts such as coconut water, alpine rose and hyaluronic acid meaning eyes get a soft touch of skin-loving care too. I've tried a lot of nude based palettes over the years and this is up there as one of the best - it's firmly in my top spot.

Usually, this isn't something I'd use but I gave it a go anyway and was pleasantly surprised. The multi-use cream to powder highlighting stick provides a beautiful sweep of sparkling colour for face or eyes. I have the shade Strawberry Sparkle which smells just like a Strawberry Skydancer - remember the 90's dolls that would flutter in the sky? As soon as I smelt it, I had a sudden rush of nostalgia and it made me love it more. I've used this on the apples of cheeks just to add a flush of colour but imagine it would work well in the corners of eyes too.

It's exclusive to Boots at the moment and there's a Pink Lemonade edition too.

Another Boots exclusive, the Juicy Fruits Lip Glaze range comes in fifteen shades! I have three shades but Mega Melons is my favourite. The candy finish lip glaze delivers a glistening shine to lips with a beautiful pop of pink, It's super smooth, comfortable wear and the scent makes you want to be walking across white sandy beaches and dipping your toes in the sea.

It's such a fun and fruity range!

Too Faced Damn Girl! 24-Hour Mascara (£22.00)
Better Than Sex seems to be the mascara everyone mentions when talking about Too Faced but I've never tried it - Damn Girl is my first Too Faced mascara and I love it! The brand new 24-hour mascara is made using a revolutionary creamy mousse formula developed with a special blend of whipped melting waxes that immediately deliver volume in one easy swipe. It's surprisingly lightweight albeit a little wet (it does dry but takes a little while) and the innovative polymers keep lashes flexible while adding lift, length and volume.

It's a super thick black pigment that hugs lashes and takes them from drab to fab and the best bit? Despite how wet it is upon application it doesn't smudge or flake! It is totally deserving of its name.

So there you have eight products from Too Faced I love - what are your favourite products?
