Latest in Beauty Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards Box

Features press samples - see disclaimer

It's that time of year again! Latest in Beauty along with The Sunday Times have created a beauty box that has had everyone scrambling to get their hands on one. The Style Beauty Awards Box launched this month over two different edits featuring some of the BEST beauty products to grace the beauty pages of the top title.

The mega lineup of award-worthy brands is still available to purchase now and the best bit? They've had a price drop so you can get your hands on the box featuring six of your chosen products for just £20.00! The box is only available until the 4th May and with names such as James Reed, Giorgio Armani and Espa still available, there's never been a better time to treat yourself.

I was ready and waiting when the second box dropped and managed to get my hands on exactly what I wanted, it was a pretty tense hour but just a week or so later my box was finally in my hands and I couldn't wait to get stuck in!

There were some killer products to choose from but I kinda played it safe by choosing four products I absolutely adore and then two new ones to try because I HAD to get my hands on that Lisa Eldridge lipstick.

One of the newer products for me was the Clinique All About Eyes (£27.00) which I've unfortunately had to stop using. The lightweight eye cream has been developed to deliver intense hydration and soothe the delicate eye area but it caused sore dry patches around my eyes that have been really irritable. I'm disappointed as the cream has a silky soft texture that felt really nice on the eye, my skin just didn't agree with it.

I don't usually choose perfume samples as I've always felt like they're a cop-out product in a beauty box however Si by Giorgio Armani (£55.00) is one of my all-time favourite fragrances and the sample was quite generous so I popped one in my box.

It's a soft fragrance with top notes of citrus, Bergamot and Mandarin Oil, the perfume develops into a romantic heart of Rose May, Neroli and Egyptian Jasmine, before succumbing to a deep base of Vanilla and Blond Woods. It's really quite beautiful and if you get a chance, definitely have a little sniff!

Urban Decay's All Night Setting Spray (£26.00) is one I have used for the last ten years so as I was coming to the last of my current one it seemed silly not to put this in my box. It has an incredible 16 hours of stay-power, helps minimises the appearance of foundation settling into fine lines and never leaves an overdone, cakey appearance. Plus, the innovative and patented Temperature Control Technology reduces the look of sweat and shine, maintaining a mattified, photo-ready finish. It's a great addition to any makeup kit!

I've recently shared a post called 10 Uses for Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream so as a slave to a cult product and because I never want to run out, I added a tube of Eight Hour Cream (£28.00) to my beauty box. It really is as good as everyone says and totally worth the price tag!

The Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask (£18.00) is one of my ALL time favourite masks from The Body Shop - I have gone through countless pots of this but was completely out because I've been on a mission to use up what I have at home before purchasing anything new so I totally hit jackpot with this! The mask helps to refine and revive your skin, inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, the 100% vegan tingling clay mask is infused with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil.

The invigorating charcoal face mask draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows and boy does it show!

Hands down best mask I've ever used.

The final product and probably the one I was most excited about because you all know I love a red lip is the Lisa Eldridge Red Ribbon Lipstick (£26.00). The vibrant blue-red lipstick is universally the perfect red. The super pigmented lipstick applies like velvet and leaves the most beautiful splash of colour on lips. The formulation is a creamy, hydrating matte with a slight sheen, basically, it's not a flat matte.

It is stunning, I've stuck to the same few reds over the years because I adore the way they look against my complexion but this completely knocks them out the park. It's the true red it promises to be and it has the most satisfying click when you close the bullet too!

I might have to add one of the Velvet Collections to my basket soon because I need to try more shades.

What do you think of what I chose? Are there any of your favourite products there?
