My All Time Favourites from Glossier

I took my place on the Glossier train rather late, there was so much buzz and excitement that I wanted to hang back and see how the reviews held up six months or so after the initial UK release date and then decide if there was anything I wanted to try.

Turns out that buzz just kept going so I finally placed my first order and haven't looked back. I'm now firmly in the Glossier fan club and have repurchased a couple of products since my first order so it's finally time to share my thoughts after all these months.

I think one of the most notable and popular products from Glossier has to be the Balm Dotcom Skin Salve (£10.00). It's one of the first products I ordered after seeing rave review after rave review and I've since bought three different flavours and have four tubes knocking around the house. The first one was, of course, the legendary (can it be legendary if it's still quite new?!) Birthday balm which is untinted with a subtle shimmer and smells just like birthday cake.

It's a hydrating lip balm packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to help nourish dry, chafed skin. They're formulated with Castor Oil, Beeswax and Lanolin making them a dream for skin, especially at the moment where my hands are sore from excessive hand washing.

Balm dotcom comes in eight flavours, untinted original plus seven flavours such as Birthday, Mint and Coconut which are both clear and Rose, Cherry, Mango and Berry all with a subtle tint. The dense waxy texture stays in place helping to seal in moisture leaving lips looking smooth and hydrated rather than waxy and shiny.

The best bit other than the fabulous flavours? It's super long-lasting. I wouldn't be without a tube!

I'd seen a lot of love for the Milky Jelly Cleanser (£8/£15) on Instagram so it was one of the first items I bought. Thankfully the cleanser comes in two sizes so I was able to purchase the smaller one to see how I got on with it first before committing to the larger size. At first, I didn't like it and didn't really understand the fuss but after swapping it for a different one I started to miss it.

The smell is underwhelming but I kinda love it and the jelly-like consistency feels super soothing on the skin. I went back to it daily and my skin felt softer, much cleaner and just happier. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance when I first used it but I've made up for that since. I'll definitely be purchasing the full-size bottle next.

The next product is the Super Glow Serum (£24.00) which is hands down one of the best serums I've ever used. It's a daily serum that gives your skin that lit from within look that I think we're all crying out for. The Vitamin C and Magnesium visibly energise the skin while the milky emulsion soaks in leaving not a dot of sticky residue behind - it's the answer to radiant skin and a bargain for such a brilliant serum. I've used serums that are £60+ and nowhere near as good as this little gem.

The Moisturising Moon Mask (£18.00) has very mixed reviews but with the promise of deep hydration, I had to snap this up. The super creamy mask is formulated with Sweet Almond Oil, plant-based Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid to boost skin's hydration. Liquorice Root and Lemon Fruit Extract visibly brighten and even out the complexion, while Honey and Aloe soothe skin.

While the toddler is occupied, usually in the evening I love to just slather this over my skin and sit with a book for twenty minutes while the mask does its work. It's suitable for all skin types, I have combination skin and find this works really well for me. It's soothing, has a nice light but creamy texture and my skin always feels all the better for using it.

It's such a brilliant mask for when you really need some moisture.

The final product from Glosser is my beloved Lash Slick (£14.00). Lash Slick is a film form mascara that promises to lengthen and curl lashes, it doesn't flake or smudge and lasts all day! It's marketed as the perfect everyday mascara and that it is. I didn't want something volumising or over the top, I wanted something to enhance what I already had with my natural lashes and this did just that.

The comb wand helps coat lash from root to tip, the teeny fibres give a subtle extension to lashes while the flexible film-forming polymers lift and lock each fibre into place. It completely blew me away and did exactly what I wanted in a mascara. I've worn it daily for around two weeks now and it hasn't flaked or smudged and the formula isn't really wet which is something I hate about some mascaras. I've been really impressed and my lashes look great and just how I like them.

So there you have it - the products I wouldn't be without and have repurchased in a heartbeat!
