All I want for Christmas + A Soap & Glory Giveaway!

*This is a paid partnership with Boots UK*

Christmas is such a magical time of year, we celebrate it big and full of love every year and now we have a certain little someone it's become even more magical for us. That also means I need to plan and be a bit more prepared than previous years so that everything goes off without a hitch so making a list and checking it twice is my new Christmas motto for 2019.

I'd love to say I started my Christmas shopping in August like almost a quarter of Brits but alas, I haven't even bought my Christmas cards yet. I feel like Christmas has crept up on us this year so armed with my trusty list and all my faith in Boots I think I'm gonna pull Christmas out the sack just in time this year!

Boots have been there for many of our Christmasses thanks to their incredible gift range, fab offers and of course those Boots points meaning a little self-gifting seems almost compulsory. According to Boots' research into our Christmas shopping habits, 37% of British shoppers would prefer to self-gift rather than receive Christmas presents from others which really surprised me as someone who loves shopping for and wrapping others gifts.

I adore the act of giving at Christmas so I'm definitely within the 57% of people who say seeing the persons face when opening the gift is their favourite part of gifting. It's just the feeling and energy when you see their face knowing you've absolutely nailed it for them.

I find men the most difficult to buy for, I don't know what it is but I have ALWAYS struggled. I find that Boots takes that struggle away from me because I can just hop online or venture into the store to have a browse at their gift selection. The Christmas gifts for him include everything from skincare goodies and aftershave to this fab set from No7. The Energising Collection is perfect for entering the new year with a new skincare regime and a spring in their step.

I also picked up some gifts from their Christmas gifts for her including the No7 Best of Protect & Perfect Collection and the Best of Beauty Get your Glow on kit.

Boots just have such a brilliant selection of gifts that it's rare I'll anywhere else to get those essentials for friends and family.

With the start of Christmas shopping in motion thanks to Boots, getting everything ticked off in time doesn't seem so far away which means more time for enjoying a hot chocolate and some chocolate coins.

What do you find the most difficult when shopping for Christmas?
