The Lush Halloween 2019 Collection

Autumn has arrived and with it comes the Lush Halloween collection for 2019! I loveeeee a Lush seasonal release so I've been waiting in anticipation for this collection to enter stores and it doesn't disappoint especially as my ol' fave Lord of Misrule is right there.

If they ever discontinue it, I genuinely think I would mourn its existence.

There's a handful of products to choose from including bubble bars, bath bombs, shower slime and a pretty fabulous Pumpkin knot wrap which would make a fabulous gift for any ghouls or goblins thanks to the fabulous products inside.

Buckle up because things are about to get spooky...

The bubble bars are my all time favourite bath products from Lush. You get multiply uses from them, they lather really well and create the most incredible bubbles plus they always leave skin feeling silky smooth so it only feels right to start with them.

Sparkly Pumpkin (£4.95) is back, an ol' classic and a favourite of many. It's the one to get you in the spirit and leave you with glistening skin thanks to its shimmery sparkles. Just crumble under running water to create a mountain of soft bubbles before enjoying the warming juniper-berry, notes of uplifting grapefruit and lime oil which is a great pick me up scent.

This is probably one of the best smelling bubble bars I've ever used and I love that it keeps coming back year after year.

The second bubble bar in the collection is Bewitched (£5.50), another returner. When I first tried this, I wasn't a fan but I definitely like the scent more this year not that its changed! The little feline is a blend of olibanum and bergamot and has a beautiful blackberry scent, much sweeter than what I usually like but I'm a huge fan of bergamot so I think that's what has managed to sway me more.

Who's ready for the bath bombs?

There are three available this year with two being brought back and one brand new one! Lord of Misrule (£4.50), my all time favourite is back and as I said above I'd be so sad if this ever disappeared. It's deep green in colour but once you ease it into hot water the bath bomb starts to twist and twirl revealing the most beautiful mix of pinks and purples. It's inspired by the ruler of the pagan Feast of Fools with a spicy blend of patchouli, black pepper and popping candy!

It's amazing and you must try it if you haven't already.

Next up is Monsters Ball (£5.50), a rather cute little guy with googly eyes. Hit play on Monster Mash and then drop this pink ball of delight into water. Monsters Ball is a blend of neroli, olibanum oil and skin softening Himalayan salt as well as lime oil to give you a spooktacular bath.

Finally, there's Mercury Retrograde (£4.95) which I think will be VERY popular this year as we've all become more in-tune with ourselves. Mercury goes into retrograde on 31st October so rather than have a scatty five minutes, it's the ideal time to grab one of these and slink down for a soak. The bath bomb contains Sicilian lemon oil, ginger, fruity buchu and spicy cinnamon. It's a real treat for senses and while the sodium alginate cocoons you, the sea salt helps soften skin.

It smells ah-mazing and it's definitely going to be very popular this year!

Next we have a bit of everything else so something for the shower, a ghoulish soap and the lip scrub that is already starting to cause a stir.

Boo Shower Slime (£12.00) will be a hit with adults and children alike because it's black, slimy and lots of fun. The spooky black slime smells like bubblegum and is a breeze to use, even if it does look a little scary in the pot. In contains softening cornflour, bamboo stem extract to help banish dry skin and xanthan gum to help moisturise. Just apply, lather up and wash!

Sticking with the fun theme, Glow Worm (£4.95) would make a great alternative treat. You can craft it into any shape you want and in the dark it glows! With a blend of lemongrass, bergamot and rosewood, it smells bloody fabulous and it can be used lots of different ways in the bath or shower.

Ghost in the Dark (£6.00) is one I didn't know I'd love so much. It smells incredible and the little guy glows in the dark too. Spooks be warned, this will guide your way in the dead of the night and with uplifting lemongrass and bergamot, it will scare the ghouls away!

The final product in the pretty fabulous Halloween collection is the Pumpkin Spice Lip Scrub (£6.50). Grab your cosy knits, autumn boots and a PSL then add this little pot of yumminess and you're Autumn ready.

The scrub is packed with delectable sweet and spicy flavours that are good enough to eat. The mix of clove bud oil, ginger oleoresin and cinnamon powder delivers Autumn in a little glass pot while the caster sugar buffs away dry lips and the pumpkin butter and jojoba oil leaves them super soft. It's pretty spectacular and I have not stopped using it!

The Lush Halloween collection is online and in-stores now so grab your broomstick and get shopping! It's a really brilliant collection this year and one you are not going to want to miss.

Now where did I leave that Lord of Misrule...
