Two NEW products you need to add to your beauty stash from Typology

Oh hello new products from Typology! There have been a lot of new releases recently and I thought I'd pop the two latest products that have landed into my hands into this post and explain a little more about them - especially as they've fitted into my routine quite flawlessly.

Plus, anything from Typology and I'm there, as you'll know I've spoken about Typology a few times on here and it's a brand I really enjoy using.

Created by Ning Li, the founder of MADE.com, Typology is completely clean, genderless and 100% digital. The Paris-based skincare brand was founded with a mission to promote critical thinking in the personal care arena, intending to break the rules and demystify the complex industry. It's completely stripped back to basics in terms of ingredients and packaging allowing them to design and produce concentrated, natural products that are active, effective and sustainable without a bit of faff in sight.

It's just really great, faff free skincare and I adore it.

I've always been a big ol' charcoal mask fan and this one has been a sure-fire hit for me. You have to be careful when using charcoal in skincare as it can really dry out your skin but I haven't found that with this one at all. Said to be suitable for all skin types, it'll be your go-to for imperfection-prone skin.

It has a surprisingly silky clay texture that sits comfortably on the skin - Typology advises applying a semi-think layer and leaving it to do its magic for 15 minutes before rinsing. The mask aims to regulate excess sebum, dries out imperfections and deeply cleanses skin - it has been a dream to use when I've been having a maskne flair up!

The main active ingredients are:

Stinging nettle extract
Stinging nettle is ideal for blemish-prone skin. Rich in trace elements like zinc, sulphur, and copper, this botanical helps to regulate sebum production and tighten pores. Its anti-inflammatory properties diminish the appearance of blemishes.

Pine charcoal
Sanitising and detoxifying, pine charcoal is known for its powerful absorbent properties. It mattifies your complexion and offers deep-action cleansing for healthy, pristine skin.

Green clay
This potent purifying active is ideal for oily or blemish-prone skin thanks to its sebum-regulating, healing, and skin-softening properties. Green clay's high concentration in minerals and trace elements make it an ideal ingredient for nourishing and soothing troubled skin.

A little different to what I'd usually use but this peeling mask isn't too shabby! It's a double-action, chemical and mechanical exfoliator that aims to instantly renew skin and unclog pores for a radiant complexion. Designed for all skin types, especially dull or troubled skin the melting texture aims to reveal a brighter, fresher and more refined skin texture.

Typology advises applying a semi-thick layer onto the skin and leaving for ten minutes then once the time is up, gently massage any excess in circular motions to help enhance the mechanical exfoliation before rinsing with water. I've been super impressed with this, I really like the texture, how it feels and the way my skin looks after using it.

The Key Actives of the Peeling Mask are:

Blackberry, blackcurrant, and raspberry acids
These fruit-derived acids are natural exfoliators that are rich in skin-healthy enzymes and vitamin C. They swiftly remove dead cells on the skin's surface for an immediate radiance boost, smoother skin, and refined skin texture.

PHA
Polyhydroxy (PHA) acid is a chemical exfoliant that offers a gentler exfoliating power than AHAs like glycolic acid. It also promotes a natural, long-lasting hydration boost.

Cranberry powder
Cranberry powder's micro grains offer a gentle surface exfoliation while nourishing the skin with polyphenols and complexion-enhancing antioxidants.

Certified organic and rich in botanical active ingredients, Typology's new face mists fit perfectly into your daily skincare routine. They can be used as a toner, to prepare the skin, or as a refreshing treatment throughout the day, for on-the-go hydration and care.

There are two mists in the range - Antioxidant botanical mist with organic green tea and Toning botanical mist with organic rose geranium (my fave!) so lemme give you a quick low down on both!

The toning botanical mist with organic rose geranium is enriched with active ingredients that stimulate collagen synthesis, for firmer and more elastic skin. We have Rose Geranium hydrolate which is used in cosmetics for its toning and pore-tightening properties while Common Beech Bud extract boosts collagen production for firmer skin.

It also contains Italian helichrysum essential oil which is high in concentrate of neryl acetate - an essential oil that stimulates the production of collagen and boosts blood circulation for plumper, firmer skin. Lastly, Inulin is a natural prebiotic fibre extracted from chicory root. In addition to its moisturising prowess, it also helps rebalance the skin's microbiome.

The Antioxidant botanical mist with organic green tea is enriched with antioxidant active ingredients, it works to revive the complexion's radiance and protect the skin

The antioxidant and rebalancing active ingredients in this mist helps to defend the skin against free radicals, in order to restore radiance and uniformity to the complexion. It contains antioxidant green tea hydrolate, unifying silver fir seed extract and regenerating petitgrain essential oil.

Green tea hydrolate is known for its antioxidant and decongestant properties and helps to revive the skin's radiance and rebalances its pH. It also works to contract and decrease the size of pores while respecting the skin. Silver fir extract helps reduce hyperpigmentation for a more even complexion and helps prevent signs of skin ageing. Next is Petitgrain essential oil which is known for its regenerating, anti-bacterial and relaxing properties and lastly, we have inulin again, a natural prebiotic fibre extracted from chicory root. In addition to its moisturising prowess, it helps rebalance the skin's microbiome.

So there you have it, two new products from Typology you need to add to your beauty stash!
