Three Faves from Tropic Skincare

*This post features press samples - see disclaimer*

Tropic Skincare has been everywhere this year. My favourite bloggers have been raving about it, family and friends have been buying it and then there was little old me that completely missed the memo but did eventually jump on the last train it seems. I've been using a handful of products from Tropic Skincare over the summer and I get the hype, I do and so here are my three favourite products that have been real standouts for me.

Tropic Skincare is a British skincare and beauty company and the product line is HUGE, so huge that I didn't know what to try first so I asked for some recommendations directly and came away with some fab products! The brand stems from a love of natural beauty using tropical botanicals and plants and when Susie presented her vision on The Apprentice in 2011, Lord Alan Sugar invested and became a partner. The company now has thousands of ambassadors, countless awards and a firm following and now I've tried the brand, I can understand why.

One of the first products I tried was the Deep Hydration Cooling Mask (£20.00) which was a lifesaver in the summer. The creamy gel mask is the ultimate drink for skin and mine laps it up. Best kept in the fridge for instant cooling, the mask is specially formulated with antioxidant-rich wild Australian super berries to instantly soothe.

The added resurrection flower extracts deeply hydrate and restore the skin's vitality and the allantoin and bisabolol helps with inflammation. You can apply as often as needed, be it every day or every few days, just leave for 20 to 30 mins to enjoy happy skin. If my skin feels irritated I love reaching for the Deep Hydration Cooling Mask as I know it'll do the job.

Next up is the much talked about Tamanu Healing Balm (£32.00) which is a little miracle pot. The balm is an all in one, multipurpose skincare hero! Big claims right? But trust me when I say it works. I've been using it and so has Arran and I even popped a little bit on Joshua's dry patch on his neck after seeing it won in the baby category at The Beauty Shortlist Awards. The green balm helps repair scarred and damaged skin, it's great on dry patches and the smooth texture makes it applying it really easy.

Tamanu Oil is known as Green Gold and has been used for centuries in the Polynesian Islands to help with skin renewal. The blend of monoi and cocoa butters help hydration and it also contains antioxidant rich blackcurrant extract and raspberry seed oil. It's such a great product for something pretty much all of us suffer with at some point and I will always keep a pot of this at home now.

My final fave from Tropic Skincare is one I saw time and time again on Instagram which certainly raised my interest that little bit more. I'm a sucker for a body polish, the grittier the better for me and the Body Smooth Refreshing Polish (£24.00) is the right amount of gritty and moisturising for me. The body polish was crowned the Editor's Choice in The Beauty Shortlist awards and I can see why, it's fab.

As their founding product, the polish is a tantalising mix of zesty essential oils, mineral rich sea salts and pure plant extracts to really give your skin a treat. I couldn't stop smelling this when I first took it out of it's handy drawstring bag and it buffed my skin perfectly, leaving my body feeling incredibly soft.

It's another product I'll be ordering again when I run out.

There's still so much more I want to try from Tropic Skincare such as So Sleepy Bath & Pillow Collection and their eye cream and I'd love to know your favourite products too!

What are your recommendations?
