Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette

If there is one thing Urban Decay know how to do, it's colour and boy have they nailed it with the Full Spectrum palette. Thought you didn't need any more colours after the Electric Palette? You were wrong. Full Spectrum launched the beginning of November in a flurry of bright shades, intense shimmers and even a matte white I never knew I needed. If you're not already writing this down on your Christmas wishlist, you're about to...

Let me introduce you to Full Spectrum, a colourful, limited-edition palette featuring 21 shades, the most ever featured in an Urban Decay palette. They've organised the palette into a rainbow of colours by colour family and it's pretty spectacular. It's the colourful, ombre palette of dreams. The palette features 18 all new shades as well as three exclusives from past palettes in an array of finishes.

Each shade features Urban Decay's legendary Pigment Infusion System which gives every shade a velvety soft texture, high pigmentation, effortless blendability and insane staying power. There's a reason Urban Decay eyeshadows are my favourite and that is it. The packaging is as sleek as you'd expect; Cool, black and edgy. The design is similar to the Ultimate Basics with its matte and shiny alternate lines plus a rainbow UD logo. It also features a huge mirror and double ended brush.

Now let me talk to you about the colours! The palette features trios of pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and what they're calling the wild card row going from white to black. All the shades you'll find inside Full Spectrum are as follows:

  • Alchemy - deep fuchsia satin (Also in the Vice 3)
  • Gossip - bright metallic pink with subtle floating pearl
  • Paranoia - soft metallic blue-pink
  • Warning - a deep, metallic copper
  • Seize - bright metallic coral with subtle floating pearl
  • Jones - metallic orange with subtle floating pearl
  • Midnight Blaze - black matte with yellow-gold pearl
  • Calavera - bright yellow matte with subtle floating pearl
  • Goldmine - metallic yellow-gold
  • Hundred - deep metallic frost green
  • Hatter - vibrant, green with micro sparkle (Also in the Alice palette)
  • Mean - bright metallic lime green
  • Minx - deep navy matte with floating tonal pearl
  • Blindsided - bright teal blue matte with floating pearl
  • Metamorphosis - vibrant periwinkle blue with micro sparkle (Also in the Alice palette)
  • Delirious - deep plum matte with subtle floating pearl
  • Sketch - metallic medium purple
  • Faded - lavender with gold shimmer
  • Platonic - black matte with iridescent glitter

Full Spectrum really is like nothing I already own and something that I can't even compare to. The palette retails at £43 and is part of the Holiday 2016 collection so get your hands on it quick as it won't be around forever and you'll be sorely disappointed if you don't.

What do you think of the Full Spectrum palette? Your cup of tea?
