The CEW 2021 Beauty Awards // Latest in Beauty

(Features press samples & affiliate links - see disclaimer)

Who's ready for another beauty box from Latest in Beauty? The CEW 2021 Beauty Awards Edit is celebrating excellence and product innovation within the beauty industry and this exclusive edit is a fab way for you to get to grips with the products too.

CEW is the biggest professional membership organisation for the Beauty Industry in the UK, with over 1000 members from brands and retailers to manufacturers and influencers. Each year they gather together and vote on the best new beauty launches across thirty-three categories and this year is the 16th anniversary of doing just that.

The edit gives us a sneak peek at what will be showcased and in September the winners will be announced plus you get to pick nine products to curate your box to exactly your specifications.

Let me show you mine...

For the CEW 2021 Beauty Awards Edit, you can choose from a HUGE selection of products, 34 to be precise so it takes some whittling down! There's a mixture of full-size and generous sample size products so for the £25.00 cost, you really get your money's worth.

You'll find brands such as NARS Cosmetics, Batiste, Cutex, Murad, Paula's Choice and so much more.

For the products I chose, I went with some I needed to replace such as dry shampoo and nail varnish remover as well as others I just really fancied trying.

I thought there was a really great selection to choose from.

I'm gonna give you a quick rundown on my top picks from this box from the products I haven't tried before:

Dr.Organic Guava Gel Moisturiser (50ml full-size)
I've used a number of Dr.Organic products over the years so if there's an option to choose one, I usually will. This particular moisturiser helps to harness the brightening qualities of organic guava to uplift your complexion, hydrate skin and leave a gorgeous glow. It smells fabulous too!

Delilah Intense Day-to-Night Volumising Mascara (10ml full-size)
I've only used lip products from Delilah previously but I need a fresh mascara so I hit add on this. The mascara can be found in the 'Best Vegan Beauty Product' category and has a unique blend of waxes which creates an intense, non-smudging mascara. It's designed to be buildable so you can go from day to night effortlessly. I was surprised at how much I liked the brush as I usually like something more separating.

AHC Real Eye Cream for Whole Face (30ml full-size)
This cream combines high-quality ingredients with microsome technology to ensure ultimate absorption helping the overall texture and appearance of the skin. I'm not usually a fan of combi products but I thought this would be handy for my hospital bag for when I have the baby.

NARS Climax Extreme Mascara (2g sample size)
Another mascara because I'm a sucker for a NARS product - this is up for best eye makeup and aims to deliver the ultimate black pigment as well as lengthening to create a dramatic effect. So far, so good for me although I find it a touch wet. It gives a great volumised look to my eyes so I'm gonna keep up with it and see how I go.

The Latest in Beauty CEW 2021 Beauty Awards Edit is available to order now for £25.00 direct from the Latest in Beauty website. It's the perfect time to treat yourself - I'm so pleased with that I've picked.

The big question - what is your favourite product from the box?

  4. I love the idea that you can pick what you'd like in your box. Like the perfect pick'n'mix. I've heard fab things about the Nars mascara, i bet it'll be one of those ones that gets better the more you use it & the drier the formula gets.

  6. Batiste wins my hair awards everyday. I've tried other brands for dry shampoo and none of them match up. It might just be my hair keeping Batiste in business, I use it that much! Also that mascara, yes wow!
