Christmas Bucket List 2021

With COVID still taking centre stage this year although not quite on the scale of 2020, my bucket list posts have been put on the back burner - I didn't even share an Autumn one. With Christmas being the most wonderful time of year I've managed to whip one up if not just for me but for you too in case you need some festive ideas.

I like to keep my bucket lists filled with things that are easily accomplished be it big or small. They also give me the push to do a little more when all I want to do is hide from the cold with a blanket.

So here are a list of things I'm hoping to do with family this Christmas, I'd love to know what you have planned too.

  1. Drink hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows
  2. Bake Christmas treats like cookies, mince pies or a Christmas cake
  3. Write a letter to Father Christmas
  4. Read Christmas stories
  5. Buy Christmas candles
  6. Wear matching Christmas pyjamas
  7. Make a gingerbread house or make gingerbread stars
  8. Create a Christmas playlist and dance around the kitchen
  9. Watch as many Christmas films as possible
  10. Decorate the house together
  11. Go for a walk to look at neighbours Christmas lights
  12. Wear a Santa hat
  13. Make handprint ornaments
  14. Try out fingerprint Christmas cards with the little ones
  15. Spend the afternoon doing Christmas crafts
  16. Have a family games night with Christmas Monopoly
  17. Spend the evening writing cards and wrapping presents
  18. Go for a crisp winter walk
  19. Buy our 2020 Christmas ornament
  20. Make reindeer food for Rudolph
  21. Cut out snowflakes and decorate the windows
  22. Grab a wipe away pen and draw magical scenes on the windows
  23. Make s'mores (dairy-free!)
  24. Create our own Winter wreath
  25. Make cinnamon playdough to play with
  26. Leave mine pies and milk out for Father Christmas
  27. Take lots of photos for a Christmas photo book
  28. Go on a long winter walk
  29. Spend the whole day in our pyjamas watching Christmas films
  30. Hopefully spend time with family

  5. Hi Alice,

Some excellent bucket list items there for the festive season.

Don't overdose on those Christmas films. Especially the dreadfully formulaic Hallmark ones! (sorry, my inner grinch surfaced then for a moment ;-) )
