Ole Henriksen Balance It All 3-Step Skin Kit

(Features press samples & affiliate links - see disclaimer)

With Ole Henrikson now easily available in Boots, grabbing my favourite products has been a doddle. If you're not familiar with the brand, Ole Henrikson is a cosmetician and skincare guru with more than 40 years of experience in the skincare industry. He believes great skin begins with a positive outlook - an effervescent optimism and zest for life that allows you to glow from the inside out.

His Scandinavian heritage and colourful nature led him to design a simple, joyful, yet powerful approach to the skincare you see and many of us love today.

The Ole Henrikson skincare collection is built on a product philosophy of exfoliate, treat and soothe, which originated in Ole's Beverly Hills spa, to bring incredible, transformative results to clients all over the world. Each product in the line, from easy daily regimens to professional-strength system, combines efficacious powerful actives, natural botanicals and essential fatty acids and so today I wanted to show you the Balance It All 3-Step Skin Kit.

My skin has gone a bit haywire during my pregnancy so I've been having to switch up what I use to balance out my skin so something like the Ole Henrikson Balance It All Skin Kit (£32.00) has been a blessing. Perfect for combination and oily skin, the oil-controlling skincare essentials keep shine and pores in check while maintaining hydration levels.

The 3-Step kit contains:

Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser
The cream cleanser helps to reduce excess surface oil by deeply cleansing pores. Formulated with a blend of potent active botanicals, the oil control face wash will help unclog and purify pores without stripping the skin. It's brilliant for acne control and with added powerful glycolic and lactic acids, dead skin cells are lifted away to make way for clearer, brighter skin.

Balancing Force Oil Control Toner
The oil control toner is formulated with a powerful blend of salicylic, glycolic and lactic acids. It's best suited for oily skin, especially as the gentle clarifying action helps to unclog, purify and minimise the appearance of pores. I find my skin gets a little tight after using but nothing that a serum and some moisturiser won't fix.

Cold Plunge Pore Remedy Moisturiser
This is my favourite product of the three - it instantly hydrates and diminishes the look of pores and the lightweight, oil-free moisturiser feels lovely on the skin. It's inspired by the 'cold plunge' step of the Scandinavian sauna cycle so the light, cooling cream gives a refreshing hit of hydration. It is packed with BHAs and LHAs, helping to smooth uneven skin texture while targeting fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots.

The thing I love most about these kits is that the sizes are really generous so it allows you to get the most out of the products, see how your skin reacts to them and if you love the results you can then go on to buy the full-size products - it's such a great way to try a new brand. Not everything will work for everyone and who wants to commit to a 30ml pot of moisturiser that you might dislike?

Ole Henrikson sells exclusively on Boots.com and in-stores so if you're looking to add something colourful to your skincare routine then that is the place to go!

  1. This range sounds perfect for my skin right now. The sun did wonders for clearing my breakouts but this weird muggy, cloudy weather has made me look and feel dull again!

  8. I actually didn't realise this brand was that affordable. For some reason I thought they were mega pricey, I know they're not the cheapest, but still, I've always steered clear for that reason! The moisturiser sounds amazing though. Love the sound of the cooling effects it gives.
