NEW REN Clean Skincare // Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream

(Features press sample & affiliate links - see disclaimer)

Clean Skincare is at the heart of what REN do meaning incredible products created with sustainable ingredients from sustainable sources every time plus they're sustainably packaged too. I've used a number of their products over the years and regularly pin the Evercalm and Radiance collections as my all-time favourites so imagine my delight when their all-new eye cream landed in my skincare loving hands.

When I first spied that oh so familiar orange packaging I knew the eye cream was going to be bumped up to the daily routine - the REN Radiance range is my go-to with the Evercalm range right behind it so with claims of brightening, dark circle reducing powers it was almost as though this little baby was made for me.

The REN Clean Skincare Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream (£42.00) has been specially designed to reduce the appearance of dark circles after just seven days of use - big claims eh?!

Well... they're right, it does the job and it does it really well. The targeted day and night eye cream is formulated to be super gentle, non-irritating and can be used on all skin types to revitalise and brighten the eye area. Plus, it's packed with illuminating clean bio-actives which aim to visibly plump and lighten the eye area to deliver an illusion of being more awake.

The Elderberry Flower Extract means the eye cream is chocker full of antioxidants that help to protect your skin against environmental aggressors. This aims to reduce the risk of dark circles by minimising puffiness, which also increases comfort while the Glycogen locks in essential moisture, working to prevent excessive water loss, leading you towards smoother, firmer-looking skin.

I'm quite particular about eye creams - I like them light, almost gel-like so imagine my surprise when discovering the Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream is the total opposite.

But ya know what? I don't hate it - it's thick, creamy but absorbs easily and feels so luxurious once applied. Maybe I didn't know what I liked after all? As far as eye creams go, this is brilliant and I genuinely noticed results in just five days (as did some of you on Instagram stories!) which surprised me so much as I'm a firm eight-week skincare kinda tester.

It's firmly found its way into my heart and skincare routine and paired with the REN Clean Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic and REN Clean Skincare Glycol Lactic Radiance Mask my skin is glowing!

If you're looking for an eye cream, this should definitely be at the top of your list.

  11. I started on this a couple of weeks ago - I find it quite hard to get it to absorb and haven't seen any results in terms of dark circles but I'll stick with it for a few month weeks to see!
