The Too Faced Born This Way Natural Nudes Palette

It's pretty common knowledge that I can't resist an eyeshadow palette, let alone one from Too Faced so as soon as I spied the Too Faced Born This Way Natural Nudes Palette I snapped it up straight away via Cult Beauty.

The eyeshadow palette was inspired by their Born This Way foundation range and for once, it's a neutral eyeshadow palette that is genuinely neutral, it's not too warm or too cool - it's just the perfect dose of neutral for all skin tones with a gorgeous variety to create the perfect neutral eye.

I know Too Faced can sometimes draw some criticism due to the formula but it's actually one of my favourites to use and this is no different. I've had this since March and it has been my go-to throughout the last few months. I just can't get enough of the shades Seashell and Petal!

Retailing at £35.00, the neutral inspired palette features 16 shades and a full-size mirror. Chock full of warm golds, ambers, and rich browns, this seductive set of shadows is perfect for creating day-to-night looks. It has a pop of bright gold, for a funky fun look, and shimmery bronze shades for a sultry evening eye and oh so creamy base shades. Whatever you want to create can be easily done thanks to this little beauty.

The formula is super buttery and packed full of pigment with each colour blending effortlessly to achieve a chic, pared-back aesthetic or after-dark drama. Each of the shades is infused with skin-loving extracts such as coconut water, alpine rose and hyaluronic acid meaning skin gets a dose of tender, loving, care.

Although I loved the shades and the design of the palette, the packaging is actually a little disappointing, I kinda expected this to be similar to others and come in a hard case as it makes it so much better for travelling but it's in a cardboard outer case with slim plastic inner packaging.

The metallic shades apply best with fingers, but that's true of most metallics on the market. The mattes are creamy and easy to work with and take little effort to build in the crease. You’ll have to be careful not to over blend though, as they can fade with too much brushwork.

My favourites are the shimmers as always, they're not overly shimmery - they're just luminous, smooth and so pretty all over the lid. Too Faced really hits it out of the park with their shimmer formula. They look and perform more like a satin, with just a hint more sparkle which makes reaching for this most days a dream.

For those that love neutrals like me, this palette was designed for us! It's not a fancy palette, it's just wearable and brilliant for everyday looks. If you're still on the fence, visit your nearest store because the swatches in person speak for themselves.

The Too Faced Born This Way Natural Nudes Palette (£35.00) is available to buy now online and in stores, it's the perfect pick me up!
