Discovering Trilogy Skincare

My skin changed a lot while I was pregnant. I experienced skin complaints I've never had to deal with before and I've been trying to really look after my skin ever since. A product that was recommended to me again and again was Trilogy's Rosehip Oil so that was swiftly added to my skincare routine along with three of their other products. Trilogy was created by two sisters in 2002 after they discovered the benefits of rosehip oil for skin, the brand is now loved by many and sold in over 20 countries and I can totally see why.

The original product line consisted of just five rosehip products, fast forward to now and the line has well and truly expanded to over forty products. Creating a brand that was passionate about sourcing the purest organic ingredients was important to both sisters as was doing it in an ethical and sustainable way.

The Cream Cleanser (£23.50) has quickly replaced my usual oil cleanser, it just feels so luxurious. The pump action bottle makes it a doddle to use and the smooth. creamy cleanser really helps shift makeup and grime from face and eyes, without stinging. The one step cleanser leaves my skin super clean, refreshed and incredibly smooth. I loved the oil I was using but it stung my eyes a little so I always used something different on my eyes. Using the cream cleanser means I can just use the one product.

After the cleanser, I've been using the Hydrating Mist Toner (£18.50). The mist toner is super convenient and I love how I can just grab it and spritz. It's incredibly refreshing thanks to the aromatic mix of rose, geranium and lavender and my skin laps this up. I'm still very faithful to my Pixi Glow Tonic but this has been great when my skin has been dry or tight and I need a quick solution that works.

I was most excited to try the cult product, Rosehip Oil (light blend £19.50) which is loved the world over. The pure natural rosehip oil delivers all over nourishment and helps repair skin. The natural actives in rosehip oil is brilliant for use on scars and stretch marks as well as helping dehydrated and ageing skin. I use a couple of drops on my skin at night time before my usual moisturiser and it has made such a difference to previous spot scarring I had. I have the light version and it blends into skin really well, I'm a facial oil fan and always use at night anyway so the consistency isn't a problem for me but I know some may find a thicker oil harder to use so this is a great alternative.

The last little gem I've discovered is the Mineral Radiance Mask (£20.50) which has fast become a favourite and is what I've shown on my stories a lot recently. The mineral rich kaolin clay delivers instant radiance while deeply cleansing the skin while the native New Zealand pohutukawa extract helps tone and regenerate. There is also rosehip and evening primrose oils to nourish and hydrate. It leaves my skin bright, less oily and really hydrated. My skin has been suffering a lot recently and this brings out the best in my skin and it smells fab, my fail safe for Sunday pamper nights.

After loving each of these products, I'm dying to try more from Trilogy, the exfoliant especially. I might even have to pick some skincare treats up for Arran too.
