Afternoon Tea with Antipodes

A few weeks ago I ventured up to London to have afternoon tea with New Zealand skincare brand, Antipodes. I had heard so much about the brand especially the Manuka Honey mask so I couldn't wait to spend the afternoon with Deborah, their representative and Sophie, their incredible PR.

I met Megan from thumbelinalillie at Covent Garden station where we then made our way to the Covent Garden hotel. Meeting Megan was like meeting someone I've known for years and I love that you can have a connection like that with bloggers you've never met before.

We made our way into the absolutely beautiful hotel to be greeted by our hosts where they quickly explained what the afternoon was about while we waited for the other bloggers to arrive as we were a bit early. We were handed flutes of champagne to sip on while we asked Deborah lots of questions on Antipodes. Having never used them before I had a lot and was pleasantly surprised with the brand range and all the samples on offer to try throughout our time there, mentally compiling a 'must try' list for pay day.

As we all talked blog, skincare and sipped on champagne, our time at the Covent Garden hotel went quickly and we were soon staring in awe at the delectable treats and sandwiches that had been brought to the table. Cucumber, smoked salmon and beef sandwiches alongside tortes, mousses and warm scones with fruit preserve.

We were well and truly spoilt. Soon it was time to pack up and catch our trains. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, give me champagne, cake and an afternoon to speak beauty and I'm yours. I've switched a few key pieces of my skincare to Antipodes since learning more about the brand and I'm so happy with what I'm using, that'll be another blog post though.

Have you used anything from Antipodes before? What are your top picks?
