February Favourites

I can't believe it's that time again! Where has February gone? I've decided to keep my favourite posts down to just five a month, something that I've found really difficult as I've been routing through my draws to re use some of my stash. Just like last month there is a bit of everything, make up, hair care, skin care and tools.

After using my Naked 3 palette for most of January, I thought it was about time I delved back into the world of Mac and make the most of my custom quad. I have a review of it in full here if you want to have a read. I've mostly been using Shroom along the lid, Naked Lunch under the brow and Antiqued blended into the crease. I love these shadows, they're so creamy and pigmented. This is also a perfect day time look and one that I've been wearing to work the last few weeks. That does count as one favourite right?

Next is the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Audacious which I have also reviewed recently here. I stumbled across this when it was on offer in Superdrug but they usually retail at £7.99. I won't go on too much as you can read what I think in the link but I'm a big fan and will be picking up some more colours once my account is finally replenished on pay day.

Now.. for the tools.. The Real Techniques Buffing brush has completely changed how I do my make up. All I have to do is sweep on some foundation and buff it into my skin with the help of this and viola.. airbrushed skin. Love, Love, Love.

As I've just had my hair re-bleached after going a darker blonde over the Winter, I've been trying to keep my hair in a better condition and found Phil Smith Argan Oil in a draw of forgotten products. This came free in Cosmopolitan magazine sometime last year and works wonders. Use a pea sized amount on the ends of your hair, quick blast with a hair dryer and bam, you're done. The ends of my hair have never looked better and this is something that's going to stay in my hair routine in the future.

Lastly, is Soap and Glory's Puffy Eye Attack, this was in one of their Christmas gift sets I picked up in the sales. This is a Hydragel Turbo Boost eye cream and slightly cools the eye area when applied. Puffy Eye Attack has a jelly like texture and soaks into the skin quickly and has helped my tired eyes so much after a crazy few weeks at work. Keep a look out for this little gem in Boots where you can pick it up for £12.50.

Hope you enjoyed this post! What have been your favourites this month?
