Experience Temple Spa at Southampton Harbour Hotel

Press visit including complimentary treatments - please see disclaimer

If you're looking for a bit of luxe on the south coast, Southampton Harbour Hotel is a brilliant place to start. I've spent a bit of time there over the last month experiencing a spa day, a couple of their spa treatments and I also spent an evening with luxury spa brand Temple Spa, a brand I've used for years.

It's been a fascinating insight into what they offer and of course, the treatments and hours of relaxation is definitely a plus. HarSPA features a swimming pool, a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, mud rasul and state-of-the-art gym as well as treatments by luxury spa brand Temple Spa, employing only natural and holistic remedies. There’s an indoor and outdoor relaxation area, and a well-being juice bar and café.

Luxury spa brand, Temple Spa is a new addition to HarSPA and one I'm welcoming with open arms. The Temple Spa story began almost two decades ago. After many years of creating businesses and products for others, the founders, Mark & Liz really wanted to have their own brand and infuse it with joy, passion and excellence. It's a British brand with a Mediterranean soul delivering luxurious results-driven skincare and spa experiences in exclusive settings so Harbour Hotels couldn't be more perfect.

It's going to be a great partnership.

I visited Southampton Harbour Hotel at the beginning of the week so I could experience the My Kinda Skin Facial (£75.00 for 60 mins) by Temple Spa, it works by analysing your skin to prepare a tailored treatment just for you. The facial includes a tailored face & décolleté massage plus a relaxing scalp massage leaving you looking and feeling great.

It was the perfect pick me up on a Monday morning.

My consultation and treatment were performed by Beckie who was absolutely lovely - she made me feel so relaxed I think I even drifted off at one point. After my skin analysis, it was confirmed I do suffer from combination skin, something that has only been present since my pregnancy so with a plan in place, the lights were dimmed and it was time for my facial.

Beckie started by cleansing the skin using Good to Go (£21.00) and Dual Act (£21.00). Both products felt so smooth on the skin and it felt incredibly refreshing. I've used Dual Act before but not Good to Go so it was great experiencing something new. Moisture to Go (£38.00) was the moisturiser of choice, it hydrates with a lightweight texture for smooth & firm skin, regulating oil production.

Windows of the Soul (£30.00) was used for my eyes, forever blaming my toddler for my dark circles! Beckie also used Exalt (£40.00) a firming neck gel that we also used at our event evening with Temple Spa. It's the smoothest and most luxurious neck gel I've used in years. It works by firming and tightening skin, improving skin density and aiming to prevent sagging.

The Power Breakfast (£28.00) was the exfoliator used on my skin followed by a spot of multi-masking with Purification (£28.00) and Trufflesque (£55.00) my all-time favourite mask by Temple Spa.

It was exactly what I needed and my skin looked incredible (even if I do say so myself) once I left the treatment room.

I really enjoyed my time at HarSPA with Beckie and can't wait to book my return appointment. It's so local to me that I don't have to travel far to get there and I can just pop over for an hour and be home again in no time at all. It's the perfect place for a spot of relaxation.

You can book treatments directly with HarSPA at Southampton Harbour Hotel or by ringing them on 023 8110 3456.
