When Illamasqua do makeup collections, boy do they get it right. The Aftermath Collection launches tomorrow featuring a mix of metallic shadows, glitter and the most beautiful lipsticks I think I've ever seen and you're not going to want to miss it. The collection features earthy tones, seductive reds and molten glitter, it makes me very excited for the colder months.
Released tomorrow, The Aftermath Collection will be available instores and online, but be quick because I can just see it being a sell out. The collection features, three eyeshadows, three lipsticks and two glitter eye gels, each as fabulous as the next.
Broken Eye Gel Gold/Silver £19.00
The gels remind me of the 90's and I had a little throwback moment when I first tried the gold one. It settles on to skin well, leaving a broken glitter look. I tried this alongside the bronze metallic eyeshadow and it works so well together. Although an eye gel, I can see this working on cheek bones and brow bones to add a glistening finish to your makeup look. It's non tacky too so they've come on leaps and bounds since my glitter hey day.
Metallic Eye Shadows £17.00
If there is one thing I live for, it's metallic eyeshadows and Illamasqua's are some of the best on the market thanks to the longevity and high pigmentation. I'm not usually a single pan kinda gal but I'll let it slide with these because there's so much product and they're beautiful. There are three shades available, Hoard, a stunning gold, Enchantment, an inky shimmer and Superstitious a sultry bronze. If you love your eyeshadows to have a super creamy, texture and lasting colour, you need these beauties in your makeup stash.
Lava Lipsticks £20.00
When I first shared a photo of the Lava Lipsticks on social media, you guys went wild and for good reason too, just look at them! Each of the lipsticks have a marbled effect and paired with the rich shades, they're Autumn in a bullet. From Emanante, the earthy brown to Tectonic, a deep berry and finally Rebirth, an intense red, I really believe you'll fall in love with at least one of them, I'm all over Rebirth. Illamasqua lipsticks are renowned for their intense colour, creamy texture and lasting formula so if you're yet to give them a go, now is the time!
What do you think of the Aftermath collection? Anything float your boat?
