4 New in haircare products you should try next

(Features press samples & affiliate links - see disclaimer)

When it comes to hair, I take as much care as possible. Gone are the days of picking up whatever was on offer, I prefer to invest a little more time and effort in what I'm using especially since suffering from post-partum hair loss after both pregnancies - my thick, voluminous hair isn't quite what it was.

I've been trying a few different products this year, some of them new to me, some new to us all as they were recently released; I'm only featuring three brands, and there are three products from just one brand within this post so let's dive in - we'll all be swishing our shiny, fabulous hair before we know it.

OGX Beauty (Heat Protect Cream £7.49 & Flexible Hold Hairspray £7.49)
I've been using OGX Beauty for years, the B5 range is one of my favourites, especially when I want to inject some life back into my hair - it adds so much hydration and moisture! Over the years OGX Beauty has really expanded its range and now boasts products such as leave-in treatment masks and styling products, which is what I am sharing today. The Heat Protect Cream has been great for me - it helps to shield each strand, smoothing the cuticle for a glossy finish. Infused with Coconut Oil, the formula hydrates the strands, locking in moisture for a longer-lasting effect. It smells incredible too, I really notice it throughout the day.

The OGX Beauty Flexible Hold Hairspray promises to be a new way of styling and I've certainly enjoyed reaching for it. The hairspray is a shine-enhancing hairspray that adds long-lasting flexible hold and shine to finish off your style. Infused with Coconut Oil, the essence of Tiare flower and Vanilla Bean extract, hair is perfectly fixed in place without a trace of stickiness or crunch.

What's the hair goal? Super smooth, salon-fresh hair, right? Well, Salon Smooth will be just the product for you! The hair gloss is my hair weapon right now, applied before blow-dries and styling, the incredibly lightweight leave-in conditioner packs intense hydration and nourishment to encourage a natural moisture balance and protect cuticles from damage.

Improving flexibility and colour vibrancy, the no-rinse formula is enriched with natural wheat proteins to provide lubricity and heat protection, while safflower phospholipids support colour retention in natural and dyed hair. It's a dream to use and doesn't leave a heavy residue in hair - it's excellent.

Another gem from Umberto, this is THE mask to have in your hair stash to keep hair looking its absolute best. Offering ultra-hydrating and nourishing benefits, Umberto Giannini's Urgent Repair Deep Conditioning Treatment helps to restore shine and bounce to lacklustre hair.

Fortified with avocado oil and kale extract, the conditioning mask seeks to seal the cuticle with moisture to reduce the appearance of spit ends, alongside protecting against breakage to encourage stronger-looking tresses. Suitable for all hair types, including coloured and chemically treated, the leave-in, pre-shampoo treatment improves manageability while revealing a glossy, smooth result.

I've tried a number of shampoo bars over the years, Lush Cosmetics firmly led the way but since then we've seen some really great brands bring out their own bars, one of which is Object Beauty (also, just search shampoo bars in the search bar to see what else I've tried).

The team worked their socks off to create the perfect shampoo, using a selection of sophisticated natural ingredients, including nourishing moringa, jojoba and argan oils and soothing coconut milk. One thing I've found with various shampoo bars over the years is how badly some lather but that isn't an issue with Object Beauty. It lathers richly, cleanses, treats, repairs and moisturises strands and the scalp meaning you get a really thorough wash each time. They're each scented with natural essential oils too so it's quite a refreshing experience that stays with you hours after your hair wash.
