3 Products you must try from Ole Henrikson

(Features press samples & affiliate links - see disclaimer)

I have a lot of love for Ole Henriksen - the brand outlook is inspiring, the zest for their products is unbeatable and having spent a virtual evening with Ole Henriksen himself last year I couldn't wait to share more.

With an effervescent optimism for life that allows you to glow from the inside out, the Ole Henriksen skincare collection is built on a product philosophy of exfoliating, treating and soothing, which originated in Ole's Beverly Hills spa helping to bring transformative results to clients all over the world.

Each product in the line from easy daily regimens to professional-strength systems combines potent actives, natural botanicals and essential fatty acids which are then colour-coded making it super easy to decide on what range would be best for your skin.

In this post, I'll focus on three new products to me, I'm usually a Truth Collection kinda gal so it's been fun to experiment the last few months.

Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturiser 50ml (£40.00)
As a daily moisturiser - this is fab! It's made with peptides, amino acids, ceramides and collagen that instantly doubles hydration, boosts elasticity, and improves the look of fine lines and wrinkles while reinforcing your skin's moisture barrier all day.

The super-bouncy cream firms skin over time deeply hydrates and allows the skin to hold onto moisture better throughout the day. It's non-greasy, absorbs well and has a really nice texture. It almost feels as though it melts into the skin which is exactly what I want from my daily moisturiser especially when putting makeup on top of it.

This is a potent 20% acid night serum that smoothes skin texture, firms, improves elasticity & targets the look of dark spots, pores, fine lines & wrinkles. Packed with a powerful 20% acid blend (10% AHAs and 10% PHAs), this nightly re-texturizing serum overhauls skin texture to reveal a significantly smoother, renewed, brighter and complexion. It also has added aloe juice, birch sap and cotton water to help replenish skin.

If you're new to acids, you need to phase the serum within your routine slowly so your skin can adjust, as this happens you can then increase frequency. Begin using once a week and work your way up to using two - three times a week. Personally, I'm up to twice a week and still find mild tingling so I think I'll stay at that usage level for a little while longer - I have noticed a real difference to my skin texture though which I'm really pleased about, it's so much smoother.

Ole Henriksen Goodnight Glow Retin-ALT Sleeping Creme 50ml (£51.00)
If you're looking for a plant based alternative to retinol then this bakuchoil sleep cream is for you. Each night, your skin goes into repair mode so this rich sleeping cream makes the most of that time, exfoliating the skin's surface to allow fresher skin to glow through, transforming skin overnight.

It is formulated with a powerful concentration of AHAs and bakuchiol - a plant-based alternative to retinol which fights all major signs of aging, targeting fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. Plus, with Edelweiss stem cell, a delicately beautiful and resilient flower that thrives in harsh conditions, this potent sleeping cream also helps firm and improve elasticity while still deeply hydrating all night meaning you wake to beautifully renewed skin.

It's such a brilliant product, the formula is great, the texture is smooth and my skin LOVES it. It also has a really subtle but gorgeous scent - such a great all rounder for younger looking skin.
