Oh, it's been a long time since I've done a good old-fashioned haul post and I was due a treat before the baby made his arrival. I've used Fragrance Direct for the longest time so it's always my go-to when it comes to a beauty treat or three especially as they're not just all about fragrance, think makeup, skincare, hair products and so much more! I decided to treat myself to a bit of everything this time plus I picked up a couple of bits that have made their way straight into my hospital bag. I've read everywhere that gas and air can make your lips really dry so I chose an EOS Balm in mint for £3.75 to take in with me as well as some new Popband hairbands that were £2.99 as I knew Arran would have no trouble finding them in my bag. These are great for keeping hair kinks at bay too.
The L'OrĂ©al Collection Exclusive, Blake's Red has finally found its way into my lipstick drawer, the stunning red is one I've been meaning to buy since it was released and as it was only £2.99, I couldn't resist. I also bagged the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara for £3.99 and an Essie polish in a dirty brown called Fierce, No Fear for £2.50! I order alllllll my Essie polishes from Fragrance Direct as they are so much cheaper than normal retail price.
My two special buys were a perfume and the prettiest bronzer in all the land. I first discovered Narciso Rodriguez perfumes a couple of years ago and have been wearing Narciso ever since but I fancied a change so this time I chose Narciso Rodriguez For Her and it is the most beautiful scent ever, Arran keeps sniffing me and giving me compliments so it must be good! It was £43.99 for a 50ml bottle and it usually retails for £53.00.
The bronzer I picked is from Guerlain. The Terracotta Light Bronzing Powders are some of my favourites for a summer glow and I couldn't resist the mosaic pattern and splashes of pink. This was £31.95 and usually retails for £37.00. I use a big bronzing brush, swish it around the pan and then over my face to give a golden glow! They're the best for bronzers and always such a treat as they're so pretty. I love that I can buy such a variation of products from Fragrance Direct and not feel too guilty about the price either!
