With COVID still taking centre stage this year although not quite on the scale of 2020, my bucket list posts have been put on the back burner - I didn't even share an Autumn one. With Christmas being the most wonderful time of year I've managed to whip one up if not just for me but for you too in case you need some festive ideas.
I like to keep my bucket lists filled with things that are easily accomplished be it big or small. They also give me the push to do a little more when all I want to do is hide from the cold with a blanket.
So here are a list of things I'm hoping to do with family this Christmas, I'd love to know what you have planned too.

- Drink hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows
- Bake Christmas treats like cookies, mince pies or a Christmas cake
- Write a letter to Father Christmas
- Read Christmas stories
- Buy Christmas candles
- Wear matching Christmas pyjamas
- Make a gingerbread house or make gingerbread stars
- Create a Christmas playlist and dance around the kitchen
- Watch as many Christmas films as possible
- Decorate the house together
- Go for a walk to look at neighbours Christmas lights
- Wear a Santa hat
- Make handprint ornaments
- Try out fingerprint Christmas cards with the little ones
- Spend the afternoon doing Christmas crafts
- Have a family games night with Christmas Monopoly
- Spend the evening writing cards and wrapping presents
- Go for a crisp winter walk
- Buy our 2020 Christmas ornament
- Make reindeer food for Rudolph
- Cut out snowflakes and decorate the windows
- Grab a wipe away pen and draw magical scenes on the windows
- Make s'mores (dairy-free!)
- Create our own Winter wreath
- Make cinnamon playdough to play with
- Leave mine pies and milk out for Father Christmas
- Take lots of photos for a Christmas photo book
- Go on a long winter walk
- Spend the whole day in our pyjamas watching Christmas films
- Hopefully spend time with family

What a great list. It sounds like you have some fab plans. I am planning on doing a lot of these things x

Hi Alice,
ReplyDeleteSome excellent bucket list items there for the festive season.
Don't overdose on those Christmas films. Especially the dreadfully formulaic Hallmark ones! (sorry, my inner grinch surfaced then for a moment ;-) )
These sound ace! I out together a Christmas to do list with Amelia over the weekend. We've written it on her easel and have been ticking things off as we've been doing them. She loves it! We've got lots of similar things to you guys. X
ReplyDeleteI've already done quite a few of these! I'm really hoping we can see some more people on Christmas Day this year! x
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourite times of the year although we will be very cautious with the new strain that was announced
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely festive bucket list. I am deserpate to go to a Christmas market this year
