Temple Spa My Kinda Skin Essentials Kit

(Features press samples & affiliate links - see disclaimer)

Over the last year, all this extra time at home has meant I've really been able to nail my skincare routine. I know what my skin needs and when it needs it and for the first time in forever it feels relatively calm and happy. When it comes to skin, it's something that can change quite quickly, I remember when I was pregnant my skin did a complete 360 and I had to change everything for it to change again once I had our son.

One thing that I've found is really helpful when you're unsure about your skin and what it needs is Temple Spa's Capsule Skincare Collection. My Kinda Skin is a clever kit that helps you choose a three-step routine depending on how your skin feels.

The trio of products have been specifically chosen by skin type and are presented in a handy bag too - I use the "Pick your Own" skin kit so I'm going to show you what I've chosen.

The skincare capsule collections were born out of the desire to create exclusive selections targeted for different skin types, featuring a cleanser, toner and moisturiser with amazing textures, results and benefits, plus great savings too.

If you're fairly new to Temple Spa, they're an award-winning British skincare brand with a Mediterranean heart. They've been creating luxury skincare and spa treatments for over 21 years. Temple Spa products contain Mediterranean botanical, plant, fruit and legume extracts, combined in synergy with high regard for derma-science, technical innovation and research; performance and texture are paramount so you just know you can trust them when it comes to simple and effective skincare collections.

The My Kinda Skin "Pick your Own" Skin Essentials (From £65.00) allows you to choose the products best suited to you although you can choose from targeted collections from skin type too. I'm quite familiar with Temple Spa so knew the pick your own selection would be best for me.

In The Beginning Deep Pore & Exfoliating Cleanser (RRP £30.00)
Cleansing balms are my kryptonite so In The Beginning would always be my go-to from Temple Spa (although Dual Act comes second!). The Nourishing cleanser melts dirt from the skin, thoroughly cleansing away the days grime while gently exfoliating to leave a super clean and clear complexion.

The concentrated balm has a unique buttery texture that feels luxurious on the skin, it's my perfect spa-like product. It's formulated with Mediterranean ingredients of olive, calendula, basil, clary and lavender to ensure a nutritious, intense cleanse, leaving skin feeling dewy and glowing with health and vitality. Plus it smells incredible too!

When it comes to toners I'm all in or nothing - I have two top picks from Temple Spa and they're Glowcolic and Toning Essence which is the product within My Kinda Skin Essentials kit. Toning Essence is an alcohol-free cleansing toner that cools and refreshes skin - the brightening toner has a light refreshing texture and the fragrance is inspired by a Mediterranean summer salad. The ingredient list is incredible and full of tomato, lemon, orange, melon, rosemary, basil, mandarin, lime and ginger.

Moisture to Go (RRP £38.00)
Since having our son I've suffered from combination skin so Moisture to Go is one I've reached for time and time again, it's always my go-to in Temple Spa facials too. The multi-tasking balancing moisturiser is perfect for combination skin thanks to its clever formula. The texture is super soft and works incredibly well on either dry or oily areas of skin. Featuring Mediterranean ingredients of tomato, grapefruit, marjoram, wild yam and olive combined with vitamins and their high-performance Combiderm™ complex to bring balance it's the perfect product to help absorb excess oil while rehydrating the drier areas at the same time. The pump action bottle makes it super hygienic to use too.

As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of the kits - there are six to choose from including the Pick Your Own and if you have any questions about the products you can use their support chat.
