Fail Safe Lip Colour // Too Faced Melted Matte

(Features press samples - see disclaimer)

When it comes to lip products, matte is my jam but oh my where have the Too Faced Melted Matte lipsticks been all my life? If you head over to the search bar and enter matte there's a whole lotta matte loving that comes up so it seems only fair I add my new lip loves to the mix.

Too Faced Cosmetics have been a makeup love of mine for the last few years and as I try more from the brand, the harder I fall in love and these babies are no different.

The Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks come in a variety of shades from your hottest pinks to the deepest of reds with plenty of nudes in between - and the oh so gorgeous range boasts high colour pay-off and durable wear even when worn under a face mask.

The Melted Matte Lipsticks allow you to amplify your pout with an even coat of high-impact colour which dries drown to a velvet matte finish. The formula is enriched with the brand's innovative Volulip™ - a no-sting plumping filler that creates the illusion of a fuller, more voluminous lips without irritation or discomfort. There's also Avocado Oil, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Filling Spheres that work to moisturise and soften the lips, leaving them looking smooth and supple.

The lipsticks feature a doe foot applicator for unbeatable precision meaning your lips will look flawless in seconds. It's a really nice shape with the tip the perfect shape for your cupids bow and a flatter side so the colour glides on.

I have three shades from the range and have been trying out all of them over the last few weeks although Strawberry Hill, a gorgeously vibrant red has well and truly taken the top spot. I wore Strawberry Hill for the first time on Halloween and you folks went wild for it on my Instagram stories!

You know when you discover your perfect red? That's how I feel about this one!

I also have Makin' Moves, a deliciously rich brown and Stay The Night, a pretty hot pink. Makin' Moves is definitely more a day time me colour while Stay The Night is the pink I wish suited me, alas I just can't pull off pinks so much anymore.

I have tested the lip shades under a mask, through numerous coffees and a Halloween buffet and am pleased to say they withheld through the lot - my matte lips have never looked so good.

I have Prissy and Hot Stuff on my to but list next - some of my older liquid lips definitely need replacing so I'm gonna swap the shades over to Melted Matte versions, the love is real!

You can buy Too Faced Cosmetics from most major beauty retailers - Look Fantastic, Cult Beauty and even Boots so there's never been a better time to jump on the liquid matte train.

What shade would you choose?
