The LUSH Halloween Collection 2020

(Features press samples - see disclaimer)

Autumn has arrived and with it comes the Lush Halloween collection for 2020! Lush seasonal releases are my absolute fave so I've been waiting in anticipation for this collection to enter stores and it doesn't disappoint especially as my ol' fave Lord of Misrule is right there - I don't know what I'll do if they ever discontinue it.

There's a handful of products to choose from including bubble bars, bath bombs, frightening shower gel and a pretty fabulous Fangs n Eyes knot wrap which is sure to give you a fright! There's also a super cute pumpkin mask holder which is a great way to gift bath bombs to any Halloween Lush fans.

Buckle up because things are about to get spooky as I run through the range...

The bubble bars are my all-time favourite bath products from Lush. You get multiply uses from them, they lather really well and create the most incredible bubbles plus they always leave skin feeling silky smooth so it only feels right to start with them. We have just one for Halloween this year and it's a returner!

Bewitched (£5.50) is back, an ol' classic and a favourite of many. When I first tried this, I wasn't a fan but I definitely like the scent more as the years have gone on, not that it's changed! The little feline is a blend of olibanum and bergamot and has a beautiful blackberry scent, much sweeter than what I usually like but I'm a huge fan of bergamot so I think that's what has managed to sway me more.

Now for the bath bombs!

There are four available this year with three being brought back and one brand new one! Lord of Misrule (£4.95), my all time favourite is back and as I said above I'd be so sad if this ever disappeared. It's deep green in colour but once you ease it into hot water the bath bomb starts to twist and twirl revealing the most beautiful mix of pinks and purples. It's inspired by the ruler of the pagan Feast of Fools with a spicy blend of patchouli, black pepper and popping candy!

It's amazing and you must try it if you haven't already.

Next up is Monsters Ball (£5.50), a rather cute little guy with googly eyes. Hit play on Monster Mash and then drop this pink ball of delight into water. Monsters Ball is a blend of neroli, olibanum oil and skin softening Himalayan salt as well as lime oil to give you a spooktacular bath.

Punkin Pumpkin (£4.50) is a fun little guy that has made a reappearance - it's lightly scented, bright and full of mood-enhancing citrus oils. Run a warm bath and slowly ease Punkin Pumpkin in, as it starts to swirl it releases hues of orange and yellow making for a super colourful bath. With cinnamon leaf oil, sweet wild orange oil, lime oil and Sicilian red mandarin oil it's a real treat for the senses.

Bat Art (£4.50) is a deliciously dark newbie that turns your bath into a violet glitter dream - it's unbelievably sensual and has a herbal scent that lingers. Just like Junk perfume, Bat Art contains Silician lemon oil, rosemary oil, green mandarin oil and sage oil - it's beautifully dark. Kinda wish it wasn't limited edition!

Next, we have a bit of everything else so something for the shower, a ghoulish soap and the lip scrub that is totally different from what I expected.

Very Very Frightening Shower Gel (£12.00) is bright yellow, almost radioactive which is ideal for Halloween. Thanks to the mix of citrus the scent is sweet and uplifting with my trusty ol' fave bergamot making an appearance as well as grapefruit oil, fresh lemon juice and almond essential oil. It's so much better than I was expecting and I'm gonna have to pick up an extra before it's gone.

Boo Shower Slime (£12.00) is back again and will be a hit with adults and children alike because it's black, slimy and lots of fun. The spooky black slime smells like bubblegum and is a breeze to use, even if it does look a little scary in the pot. In contains softening cornflour, bamboo stem extract to help banish dry skin and xanthan gum to help moisturise. Just apply, lather up and wash!

Ghost in the Dark (£5.00) is one I didn't know I'd love so much. It smells incredible and the little guy glows in the dark too. Spooks be warned, this will guide your way in the dead of the night and with uplifting lemongrass and bergamot, it will scare the ghouls away!

Finally, we have Toffee Apple Lip Scrub (£6.50) - the scrub is packed with delectable sweet flavours that are good enough to eat. The mix of bergamot oil and geranium oil creates a perfectly sweet scent in the cutest little glass pot while the caster sugar buffs away dry lips and jojoba oil leave them super soft.

The Lush Halloween collection is online and in-stores now so grab your broomstick and get shopping! It's a really brilliant collection this year and one you are not going to want to miss.

Now, what bath bomb should I use?
