Topshop Beauty is now at Very!

With the changing seasons it's not just our wardrobes that get an Autumnal overhaul, our makeup does too! Switching up my fragrance and go to makeup products is something I do with each season. Think bright oranges, soft bronzers and gorgeous highlight for Summer and dusty browns, muted rose pinks and golds for Autumn. I've been arranging my makeup stash this week to inject some new shades ahead of the equinox in a few weeks and Topshop Beauty have pulled out some bangers!

The best bit? Topshop Beauty has recently launched at Very which means getting your beauty fix is even easier. There's a huge range available from subtle highlights, stunning eyeshadows and the softest lip crayons to long wear foundation and the fixing mist you are going to want to get your hands on.

Ahead of the launch, I was sent the bundle of dreams featuring a whole host of different products and I've been testing them out the last few weeks so I can give you my thoughts on what to treat yourself to this Autumn which means I get to go back to that fixing mist again.

The Topshop Make-Up Fixing Mist (£12.00) comes in super sleek, understated black packaging and you know what? I love it! It's considerably cheaper than most on the market and it does such a brilliant job. The refreshing and weightless setting spray helps stop makeup from fading or settling into pores, something I suffer with because hello nearly 30 *sob*. Once I've finished my makeup, I spray the mist onto my skin and let it set. It doesn't leave any white bits or give a wet look nor does it take forever to dry and it smells quite nice too. It's one I would re-order in a flash.

Keeping on the base/skin theme, the Longwear Illuminating Primer (£14.00) is fab for getting that sublte dewy glow when our skin can feel most dry due to the colder weather. I suffer in the Winter months when the temperatures plummet and my skin can be left looking quite dull so I'm hoping something like this will perk up my skin and deliver that subtle dewy glow I crave in the Winter.

I've already touched on how I love golds and browns in the Autumn months and so the Set of Three Glitter Eyeshadows (£25.00) are a treat and a half! They are so incredibly pigmented, fallout is unbelievably minimal and used alongside the fixing mist (told you I loved it) the glitter shadows last for hours. The bronze has been my most reached for with the champagne shade being next. I like that there's the darker shade within in the set so there's some variety but it's not something I would use so it's a little redundant for me. What I'd like to see is the eyeshadows sold separately so there's less waste for me.

To complete your gorgeous glitter eyes, there's a number of eye products to choose from too. The Topshop Kajal Eyeliner (£10.00) is brilliant as an intense black liner. The soft crayon formula means it applies easily with no tugging but you need to be light handed otherwise the line can become very thick. If you're heavy handed like me then you'd probably be more suited to the Topshop Longwear Matte Liner (£10.00) the nib is super slim and the handle is light so you have more control on creating the perfect flick.

Another product I really liked was the Topshop Intense Mascara (£12.00). The mascara aims to lengthen, curl and help volumise lashes as well as being smudge proof and long lasting. I've worn this over the last week on top of a different mascara (I like to comb out my lashes then add volume) and they've made quite the pairing. It also washes away really well with cleanser despite not budging at all during the day. It's a great budget mascara to have in your kit.

Lip products are my favourite piece, I have quite the collection of shades and it's the easiest way to change a look in seconds. The Topshop Ultra Matte Lip Crayons (£10.00) have been all I've reached for the last week or so, especially Feather. The crayons are incredibly similar to the ones I wear religiously from a high end brand and to be honest, these are stiff competition at a fraction of the price!

The creamy formula gives a super rich, suede finish, lips are left looking smooth and it feels so comfortable on the lips. Some I've tried can be a little drying but I haven't found that with these at all. There are eight shades available, they're a complete bargain and Louder has gone straight into my shopping basket!

The second lip product I wanted to talk to you about are the Chameleon Lip Gloss (£12.00). I'll hold my hands up, I am not a lip gloss fan - I like matte lip products and that's it but the reason I wanted to touch on this was because I think they would appeal to a lot of people.

The lip glosses come in four shades and are iridescent with a shimmer, crystal finish and thanks to the duo chrome reflective pigments you get a two tone shimmer to lips. It's very 90's but very right now and the non-sticky formula is great. I did try these at home and swished my hair around and I didn't end up with a mouthful of hair so lip glosses have definitely come on since I last wore them.

I'm just not a chrome lip kinda gal but if you are, these would be the perfect addition to your makeup bag.

So.... Spruced up Topshop Beauty - whatcha think?

Personally, I'm a fan. There's a great range of products, sixty four lines in total are available direct from Very and there's a number of shades to suit everyone. There's already a couple of Christmas helpings available too so I can't wait to see what else is released.

You can shop Topshop Beauty now via Very.co.uk and if you're quick, they have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment so get shopping and order that fixing mist while you're at it!
