December on Instagram

Just like that another year is over and I'm ready to share my final Instagram round up of 2018 and possibly my last. I'm undecided at the moment if I'm going to stop sharing them completely or if I'm just going to do them quarterly instead. It's a post I've always loved doing but I'm going to decide at the end of this month whether to continue them or not.

We ended 2018 in a flurry of pigs in blankets, cosy pyjamas and Christmas films despite my sadness from the months prior and the thought of spending our first Christmas without treasured loved ones we did have a wonderful month full of oh so perfect festive moments. Here's a little round up...

  • I started December in London at the Blogosphere Festival with Chloe and World Duty Free. I was up for the afternoon session after a pretty hellish train journey from Southampton but London was positively festive and Chloe and I ended the day in The Alchemist which was incredible.
  • We headed to the Etsy Festival in Southampton for Christmas treats and cards from some of our favourite independents in Southampton and plonked Joshua in some fake snow for a snap.
  • Joshua and I spent the day with one of my oldest friends at a garden center. There were more Christmas decorations than the eye could see and they had real reindeer!
  • Another festive weekend ticked off with the family, this time at Winchester Christmas Market which is one of my favourites and where we buy a Christmas decoration most years.
  • I had to get a photo of Joshua and the reindeer.
  • Southampton Bloggers had their final event with Marks & Spencer which I dubbed as my unofficial Christmas works do and I had the best time plus it was an excuse for a new dress.
  • Christmas Eve was full of Christmas films, family and giving Joshua his very first Christmas Eve Box, I can't wait to continue the tradition.
  • Christmas Day was spent with family, opening presents and drinking bubbles. Joshua was so incredibly well behaved over Christmas, we were a little worried as they were set to be two busy days with lots of people but he took it all in his stride. He's such a little star!
  • My birthday! I turned 29 on new years eve and celebrated with family over cake. It was the perfect, quiet birthday I wanted.
