October on Instagram

Another month has been and gone and we're almost on the fast track to Christmas, it doesn't seem real! As I've said before my Instagram round ups are my least popular posts and they don't get many views at all but I love them and having a record of what I shared each month. So with that in mind, I'm going to continue sharing them, mostly for me. If you ever want to have a nose at some more then I've added an Instagram Round Up tab to the categories above.

Now for October 2018 which brought as much sadness as it did happiness.

  • We started October by celebrating my beautiful Nan turning 90! We had a wonderful day with family, family who had flown across the world to be there followed by an Afternoon Tea a couple of days later. We had the best few days, days I'll treasure forever.
  • I went to London for the first time since I was six months pregnant might I add. I had a lovely catch up with an old friend at Somerset House to talk all things Christmas with a fab brand.
  • We celebrated our beautiful boy's first birthday with close family, you can have a read about his birthday and his latest update in this post - Baby Spake is ONE
  • Our final milestone board for our happy little boy.
  • Unfortunately this month was so hard in many ways. We lost my Great Grandmother and then just four days later we also lost my Nan the morning of Joshua's birthday. Nothing feels real yet and I'm just so grateful Joshua has a wonderful year with her and we all got to celebrate her 90th birthday together with all our family.
  • We took Joshua to a pumpkin patch for the first time and got a bit muddy! It was lots of fun followed by a pub lunch.
  • I finally made it to the new Coffee Lab in the city centre to meet a friend for brunch and have a very long overdue catch up.
  • My favourite park in all of Southampton is looking glorious this Autumn.
  • Joshua loves leaves! It's a fact.

How did you spend the month? Tell me your best bits !
