Crunchy leaves, Camel Coats & Autumnal Prints

Autumn is my favourite time of the year as it brings crunchy leaves, so many beautiful colours and my excuse to buy all the new season clothes so with a new maternity dress to transition me from baby bump to empty bump and the softest camel coat I think I've ever owned, we took some final photos before baby arrived.

Check out those final, 41 week bump shots! I haven't done many fashion posts while I've been pregnant as I haven't felt that comfortable. Being pregnant through the summer has been horrible and I've hated my body but after falling for this dress and wanting to get some last photos before bump becomes baby, I sucked it up.

My first new item is my coat from Chi Chi London. I didn't know they did coats and when I stumbled across them it was hard not to want them all. I eventually decided on the Nevaeh camel coat which has a double button fastening in metallic gold, pockets and collar detailing. It's slouchy and can be dressed up or down, or at least it will be when this bump disappears! Black jeans and detailed boots will look fab with this and it is super cosy meaning it'll see me through the colder months too.

The Next Maternity range has been seeing me through my pregnancy, I bought the leggings pretty soon on then after getting fed up with nothing fitting I placed a huge order of dresses for the summer and I've lived in them very comfortably. When their new ranges for A/W started filtering on to the site I couldn't resist this pretty patterned shirt dress. I thought it would be perfect for the end of my pregnancy and keeping my mum tum in check while I get used to my new body. It's light, so great for wearing under warm coats and scarves and it'll look fab with boots once I can get my feet into them again.

I accessorised with my Oxblood Cambridge Satchel which I've cracked out in time for Autumn and of course my favourite pumps, the Sophia Webster Bibi Butterflies. All details & links are below.

  3. Autumn is my favourite too. Love the colours. Plus that coat is just gorgeous. Exciting times ahead for you :)

  4. I love this coat! I've got one similar and I love it because the colour is so versatile for this time of year. You look fab! x

    1. That was my thinking when choosing this one xx

  5. I absolutely love that coat! I had one similar from Topshop but ended up getting rid of as I thought I wouldn't get enough wear (serial black wearer here!), but I'm now thinking I may just have to get one again...

    1. I'm a black clothes wearer through and through so this was a big step out of my comfort zone for me xx
