I recently attended the re-launch of Re:So situated in the Marlands Shopping Centre in Southampton. Launched in 2012, the award-winning Re:So Project was the first fully student-operated retail initiative in a UK shopping centre. Re:So has been relocated to a much larger, clean cut and contemporary space above Starbucks. Perfect for die hard fashion fans with an edge.
Myself and a handful of other bloggers were invited along to the VIP Launch which was opened by Barry Laden MBE on Tuesday, to get a sneak peak before the public launch on the 18th October.
We were treated to prosecco, macaroons and VIP goody bags on arrival and DJ Ratzi was spinning the tunes all evening leaving us to browse fashion collections by students from Solent University to our hearts content. Lucy Ballard's Envy Clutches were the main talking point for a lot of us; Gorgeous, stylish and a bargain at £12.50!
As well as clothing pieces there were fashion books, odd make up bits and accessories. Re:So really does have everything and if you're in Southampton make sure you don't miss it!
I'm so jealous of all these events you get to go to! I am yet to go to my first bloggers event... So nervous! Looks like a really cool event. Re:So sounds like a really cool place. Shame I don't live anywhere near Southampton! x
