Kérastase Aura Botanica Range

Kérastase is what I use when I really want to give my hair a pamper and the products have fast become what I reach for the most. With products available for every hair query possible, you'd be hard pressed not to find something for you. For a number of weeks, I've been treating my 'tresses to the Kérastase Aura Botanic range and my hair is very happy for the change. Let me tell you a little more about what I've been using...

The Aura Botanica range is their newest, gentle hair care range which contains up to 98% natural ingredients such as sustainabley sourced coconut oil and argan oil. It's also sulphate free, silicon free and paraben free so you can imagine the benefits to the range. I have quite thick hair which has become dry over time, especially during my pregnancy so I was dying to see whether the relatively expensive hair range lived up to the hype.

Aura Botanica Micellar Shampoo £21.20
Before even using this I fell in love with how natural it smelt. The gentle shampoo, despite not containing the ingredients that really lather up shampoo, did create a good foam to really get in to hair. It cleanses away impurities leaving super shiny locks. I've even had compliments on the way my hair looks since using this. My hair feels incredibly clean, fresh and light after each use and paired with the conditioning treatment, it's a match made in heaven. I swear by Kérastase for my hair now.

Aura Botanica Conditioning Treatment £24.40
My favourite product out of the four is the conditioning treatment as it is so luxurious. The super creamy product is richer than your standard conditioner but lighter than a masque. Paired with the Micellar Shampoo, it deeply conditions hair improving quality, reducing detangling while making hair stronger and healthier. It really does do what it says on the bottle. My hair is in the best condition it has been in for months.

Aura Botanica Essence D'éclat Lightweight Mist £39.50
Alongside the shampoo and conditioning treatment, there are also two bonus treatments. The Lightweight mist is a bi-phase product, the first is enriched with an oil phase containing a mix of coconut, argan, jojoba and avocado oil while the second is an aqueous phase of organic damask rose water. The leave in treatment provides two days of conditioning alongside frizz control giving you soft, healthy hair. Having used products similar to this in the past I was half expecting it to still weigh my hair down but it is as lightweight as promised. It also smells just as great as its sister products.

Aura Botanica Concentré Essentiel Oil Blend £42.50
The final product is the priciest of the bunch and comes in a unique oil blend. The multi use product helps tame frizz, boost conditioning and keep hair looking and feeling its best. Composed of Samoan coconut oil, Moroccan argan oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, sweet orange oil and rosemary extract, the powerful formula really does everything it is meant to and more. I use this on damp hair, mainly on the ends where I notice frizz more. You need the tiniest amount so this bottle is going to last me a long while yet.

The Aura Botanical collection is pricey but the difference in my hair, for me makes it worth it. Have you used Kérastase before? What is your favourite range?
