Christmas Hats with a Heart

Once again F&F have teamed up with charities to help support people in need this Christmas. The campaign touched both of our hearts, so Arran and I both decided to share all you need to know about it as well as our cool Christmas hats we'll be rocking this year.

F&F's Hat with a Heart campaign is now in its third year and they've joined forces with FareShare, a food distribution charity and The Trussell Trust, a food bank charity. In Tesco stores across the country and online, you will be able to purchase Christmas hats for men, women and children, just like the ones we have and £1 from every hat purchased will be donated to help families this Christmas.

Both, FareShare and The Trussell Trust are established charities tackling the cycle of poverty in the UK by providing food and support. At present there are over thirteen million people living below the poverty line in the UK which is just astounding.

The Trussell Trust is as anti-poverty charity that runs a network of over 420 food banks in the country, working with churches and communities to provide three days emergency food and support for people in crisis. FareShare are a UK wide charity that tackles food waste and hunger. They re-distribute in-date, good food from the food and drink industry, that would otherwise go to waste, to frontline charities and community groups that support vulnerable people including homeless shelters, children's breakfast clubs and domestic violence refuges.

If you're looking to purchase a Christmas hat this year, please buy your from F&F and help them raise the money so very much needed.

Christmas hats sent for this post. This is not a paid post - see disclaimer.
