Tom Ford Spanish Pink

I've had my beauty eye on Tom Ford for a very long time but have never quite been able to justify the price but with our engagement party coming around very quickly, I wanted something special to wear on the night that I'd always remember. After a browse on House of Fraser's website I kept going back to Tom Ford, finally settling on Spanish Pink as the lipstick name and colour reminded me of living in Spain.

Tom Ford Beauty has such a luxurious feel to it, the packaging is beautiful with each lipstick embossed with the Tom Ford Logo, almost making you not want to use it so as not to ruin the tip. There is a soft fragrance to the lipstick thanks to the exotic ingredients used to create each lip colour. Soja seed extract, Brazilian Murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil keep lips conditioned during wear and make the formula creamy and effortless to apply.

Spanish Pink is a light, pink-peach shade with the most subtle touch of sparkle. When I first removed the cap I had a moment of doubt that it would be too peachy for me and with a slightly heavy heart, I applied it to my lips. Turns out I had nothing to worry about because it is B-E-A-utiful. The texture is creamy, moisturising and it doesn't highlight a single flake of my drier than usual lips. It's quite opaque so it does show lip lines more so than I'd like but after a swipe or two of colour, they're barely noticeable and the love I have for the shade overrides any doubts.

Due to its creamy texture, it doesn't last as long as I'd like, I've had about four to five hours wear time before having to reapply with Spanish Pink but I don't mind whipping out the super-luxe lipstick to reapply because it's kinda stunning! Considering I'm a matte lip girl, I've surprised myself with how much I love it, so much so that I'm trying to convince myself not to buy Naked Coral.

Have you tried Tom Ford Lip Colours before? What's your favourite shade?
