Rosie for Autograph Beauty Range

When the Rosie for Autograph beauty collection launched the beauty blogging world went into overdrive. Pair stunningly beautiful make up shades with rose gold packaging and you're onto a winner. Launched into Marks & Spencer's a few months back the range boasts foundation, blushes, bronzers, lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes galore among other gorgeous pieces. I had a few products from the range land on my doorstep which I've been trying out to get a good idea of whether the products were worth the mid range price tag.

Packaging wise, the products couldn't be any more aesthetically pleasing if they tried. Rose gold and super luxe, the lipsticks even have a satisfying magnetic closure. The only downside are fingerprint marks but if you can deal with NARS Cosmetic's packaging getting grubby, you can deal with this range. I had a mixture of products sent to me with the lipstick, bronzer and eyeshadow sticks being the stand out products for me.

I'm not overly a fan of cream blushes and Camisole Blush, which is what I have is too dark for my pale skintone. The concealer stick was also too dark but the texture when swatched was really creamy and blended well. I may venture in and see how light they go. The eyeshadow palette I have is called Deco Diamonds, a beautiful mix of smoky shades which are velvety soft, blend perfectly and give incredible pigmentation. Unfortunately Deco Diamonds really aren't my colours so I haven't been able to review them completely. I much prefer neutrals so may see what else is available.

There were three products I loved overall from the products I tried. The Magic Contour Bronzer, which is a similar size to NARS Laguna, is a soft, powdered bronzer that gives a healthy glow to the skin, you don't need to use much as you can go from bronzed goddess to muddy mare pretty quickly. The lipstick in Dolly Baby is a highly pigmented, creamy formula lipstick. Dolly Baby is a vibrant pink that leaves my lips hydrated and comfortable to wear. It lasted well through coffee and cake which is the ultimate test in my eyes. Lastly I have one of the cream eyeshadow sticks in Feline Fox, it glides across my eye lids leaving a beautifully bronzed pop of colour. It also stays put allllll day which for a cream eyeshadow is pretty impressive, no smudging or creasing here!

The range looks and feels much higher end than it is and the quality of the products are up there with some of the best on the market. I think there are some hits and misses but overall, it's a pretty impressive range. I just hope they bring out more shades in the eyeshadow sticks because four are not enough.
